What the service does
GOV.UK lists the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) as the department responsible for the service. Alongside the next payment date and amount, it shows each payment received over the last three months.
Which benefits it covers
The service covers Attendance Allowance, Disability Living Allowance for adults, Employment and Support Allowance (all types), Jobseeker's Allowance (all types), Pension Credit, Personal Independence Payment and State Pension. These are the seven payment types GOV.UK lists for the service.
Universal Credit is not included. Universal Credit payments are checked by signing in to the Universal Credit account. For other benefits, GOV.UK says to contact the benefit team directly. That means a person who receives both Universal Credit and one of the seven listed benefits would use the Universal Credit account for the Universal Credit payment and the new service for the listed benefit or State Pension payment.
How to sign in
Users sign in with a GOV.UK One Login, and can create one if they do not have one. They may need to prove their identity when signing in, usually with photo ID such as a passport or driving licence.
Any change of address must be reported to DWP before using the service.
Who cannot use it
The service is not available to appointees, who act for someone unable to manage their own benefits, or to anyone else who manages another person's benefits or State Pension.
People living outside the UK cannot use the service either.
