Arsenal FC held their Premier League trophy parade through the streets of Islington on Sunday 31 May 2026, starting at 2pm BST. The open-top bus procession celebrated the club's first league title in 22 years, with captain Martin Odegaard having lifted the Premier League trophy after the final game of the season against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
The parade went ahead despite Arsenal losing the Champions League final to Paris Saint-Germain on penalties in Budapest the night before, on Saturday 30 May. Both the men's and women's teams took part in the procession.
Parade route and timing
The confirmed route ran from Holloway Road at Drayton Park, east along Seven Sisters Road, down Blackstock Road, Mount Grove Road and Green Lanes, then south along Petherton Road, Beresford Road, Newington Green Road and Essex Road. Road closures were in place from 4am to 8pm across the route and surrounding areas.
Arsenal had advised supporters that the stadium area, Drayton Park and surrounding zones were not accessible to the public during the event. Islington Council suspended parking across the route for the duration. Estimates suggested up to 500,000 supporters could line the route, surpassing the 250,000 who attended the club's last Premier League title parade.
How Arsenal won the title
Arsenal clinched the Premier League title when Manchester City drew 1-1 at Bournemouth, leaving the Gunners seven clear with one game remaining. They finished the 2025-26 season on 85 points, their first league championship since the 2003-04 Invincibles season.
Manager Mikel Arteta's side beat Crystal Palace 2-1 in their final game, with Gabriel Jesus and Noni Madueke scoring. Odegaard lifted the trophy on the pitch at Selhurst Park before the celebrations transferred to north London.
