The Hawkstone Farmers' Choir, the group founded by TV presenter Jeremy Clarkson, has won Britain's Got Talent 2026. The choir was announced as the winner by hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly at the live final broadcast on ITV1 on the evening of Saturday 31 May 2026.

The choir beat drone display act Celestial, who finished as runners-up, and dance duo Anastasiia and Salsa, who came third. It is the first choir of its kind to win the show in its 19-year history.

What is the Hawkstone Farmers' Choir?

The Hawkstone Farmers' Choir was originally formed by Jeremy Clarkson as part of an advertising campaign for his Cotswolds brewery, Hawkstone. The choir brought together farmers from across the UK, many based near Clarkson's farm in Chadlington, Oxfordshire.

The group went on to raise awareness about mental health in farming, a cause that resonated strongly with viewers throughout the competition. Choir member Katryna Shell told presenters Ant and Dec after the win: "We are the first ever choir to have won Britain's Got Talent. This is for all the farmers out there, for anybody that's struggling - it's not a taboo subject, if you're not OK, speak up. This is for the farmers."

Clarkson, 66, was in the audience watching the performance and was seen looking emotional as the choir sang. He had earlier described the choir as "a glorious gathering of brilliant people and beautiful voices representing the beating heart of rural Britain."

The 2026 final

The BGT 2026 judges panel included Amanda Holden, KSI, and Stacey Solomon. Bookmakers had tipped spoken-word performer Sonny Green as the most likely winner going into the final, but the Hawkstone Farmers' Choir secured the public vote with their final performance.

Amanda Holden had pressed her golden buzzer for the choir earlier in the series, giving them a direct pass to the semi-finals. The group went on to progress through the semi-finals and into the final, where they won the public vote to claim the 2026 title.
